# Harta.md

> Free map of Moldova in the browser: street and address search for Chișinău, Bălți and the whole country, shops on the map, satellite view, and A-to-B routes on foot, by car or public transport. No app required.

Harta.md (https://www.harta.md/) is a browser map focused on the Republic of Moldova and Chișinău. It does not require an account and does not sell personal data. Street data comes from OpenStreetMap. Address search uses Nominatim and Photon. Walking and driving routes use OSRM. Public transport uses Transitous. Satellite tiles use Esri World Imagery. The street basemap is a MapLibre vector layer (OpenFreeMap); pins, GPS and interaction use OpenLayers.

When zoomed in, the map shows named places from OpenStreetMap: shops, fuel stations, hair salons, restaurants, pharmacies, banks and similar venues. Click a place for its category and address, then set it as route point A or B.
